  11. StopMenu is a start bar program for Amiga. There are many similar programs
  12. available on Amiga, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. I could
  13. try explaining these here, but there's no point, as in the end you'll certainly
  14. be using the program you like best. And only you yourself can decide about that.

  16. StopMenu offers the following functionality:
  17. - starting programs installed on your Amiga
  18. - controling system commodities (a replacement for Exchange)
  19. - direct access to preferences programs (in 'SYS:Prefs')
  20. - controling screens and creating their IFF snapshots
  21. - controling windows on the Workbench screen
  22. - displaying how busy your Amiga is

  44. There are many things which I could still improve in my program. My first plan
  45. is to remove as many remaining bugs as possible. After that I could start
  46. adding new functions to the program. I already have many of own ideas and also
  47. suggestions from other users.

  49. In spite of all that I said till now I am not quite sure how much longer and
  50. further I am still going to develop this program because of the announced
  51. future of Amiga. Though, I'll still very probably at least get rid of most of
  52. the bugs if my Amiga lets me do it (occasionally it is really having some
  53. hard times).

  55. Last but not least. Incoming registrations always encourage me to do some
  56. further development. Register and you'll do something to prolong the
  57. development of this program.
